Ethiopia\u2014Thinking Schools Tigray<\/strong><\/em> began a third phase with ongoing scaffolding support for whole school systematic implementation of Thinking Schools pedagogy including Thinking Maps across all disciplines and at all grade levels. <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.thinkingschoolsethiopia.com\">Thinking Schools Ethiopia<\/a> &#8211; Tigray is a\u00a0collaboration of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tdaint.org\">Tigray Development Association<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thinkingfoundation.org\">Thinking Foundation<\/a>\u00a0for 37 model schools in 12 Woredas located in all \u00a07 zonal administrations with funding administered by <a href=\"http:\/\/initiativeafrica.net\">Initiative Africa<\/a> for a Girl&#8217;s Empowerment Whole School Change grant from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sida.se\/English\/\">Sida (Swedish Development Agency)<\/a>\u00a0that began as a grass roots project by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eggplant.org\">Robert Seth Price<\/a>\u00a0along with lead country trainers <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.thinkingschoolsethiopia.com\/?page_id=1474\">Atsede Tsehayou<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.thinkingschoolsethiopia.com\/?page_id=1680\">Dagim \/><\/a>The scaffolding support began being provided to Kalamino Special High school located in the regional capital &#8211; Mekelle.\u00a0 On site school support includes collegial coaching, brief\u00a0 refreshment \/ reinforcement training and class room demonstration of lessons modeling the actual use of Thinking Maps\u00a0in real class rooms with students employing other interrelated pedagogical techniques and tools. Some vibrant teachers at the school were part of the demonstration lesson done in a physics class room . Taking a lead in terms of modelling the actual use of the maps in class rooms for supporting student centred learning .
